Supporting Immigrants

Have you been concerned about how immigrants and refugees are being treated in this country? Lighthouse Immigration Advocates (LIA), a local non-profit, is looking for churches to step up and support immigrants during this time--rides to appointments, helping respond to unexpected difficulties, and welcoming new neighbors when they arrive in Holland and offering support as they settle in.

LIA is also looking for individual volunteers.  And they have an amazon wishlist for those who would like to contribute in that way.

There is a lot we can do as individuals, but if you'd like to talk with others at MAM about what we might do together, please see me after church or send me an email.  Thank you!
