Hosts: New Neighbor Network of Movement West Michigan & MAM’s Immigrant Support Team

At Maple Avenue Ministries, we strive to be a true "place of embrace" for everyone in our community. As part of our ongoing commitment to loving and supporting our neighbors, we invite you to a special morning presentation featuring Rev. Dale Dalman of the Hope for Neighbors ministry.

Shine a Light on the North Lake Processing Center

Rev. Dalman serves as a volunteer minister to individuals imprisoned by ICE at the North Lake Processing Center in Baldwin, Michigan. Astonishingly, nearly 90% of those held at the center have never been charged with a crime. During this session, Rev. Dalman will pull back the curtain on:

  • How the facility operates.

  • The real-life conditions and stories of the individuals detained there.

  • Practical, everyday actions we can take to address these systemic injustices.

Our Shared Mission

This event is part of the monthly meeting of the New Neighbor Network of Movement West Michigan. They closely partner with Maple Avenue Ministries' own Immigrant Support Team—the dedicated group working to ensure our Afghan friends and other new arrivals in Holland feel welcomed, supported, and connected to vital local resources.
