Hello Maple Avenue Ministries Family,
This past Sunday on March 8th, Brittany Willingham delivered a powerful message titled "GameChangeHer pt. 2," focusing on the transformative power of faith and how it can change our stories and legacies. The sermon drew inspiration from Luke 8:43-48, the story of the woman with the issue of blood, highlighting her journey from brokenness to healing through an encounter with Jesus.
Recognizing Our Need for Jesus: Brittany emphasized that the woman’s healing began when she recognized her need for Jesus. This is a reminder for us all to acknowledge the areas in our lives where we need divine intervention and to seek a closer relationship with God.
Faith in Action: The sermon highlighted that the woman’s faith, demonstrated by her touch of Jesus’ garment, was what made her whole. We are encouraged to take bold steps of faith, even when it seems daunting, trusting that God will meet us in our lowest moments.
Building a Legacy of Faith: Brittany inspired us to build a new legacy, one that is rooted in faith. By trusting in God and allowing Him to transform our stories, we can break generational curses and pave a path of hope and healing for future generations.
As we reflect on these teachings, let's approach this week with renewed faith, ready to reach out to God in our brokenness and trust Him to change our stories. We're blessed to have you in our community, and we hope to see you at our next gathering.
For the kingdom,
Pastor
